Stamping and addressing Christmas cards
I got this stamp a couple years ago as a free gift for ordering photo Christmas cards. I absolutely love it. Reminds me of a "Peace" stamp my parents used to use when I was a kid. It adds a nice touch to the back of the envelope.
This old cash register has resided in a back storage room in the bar where I work. My husband and I took it home to try to sell it (So, yes, its for sale!!!!) and I am fairly sure its from 1944. Its an amazing piece of early machinery, and also made for a fun photo op.
I made French Toast for breakfast one day. As I cracked the eggs to use, this one waves it's little tail at me and asked to be in Weekly Winners. How could I say no??
The egg shot is very cool. Too bad you had to eat it.
I really liked the cash register shot too. Love black and white photos.
haha! I know! I had an egg last week that was twins — two yolks in one egg — and I took a shot of it with my cell phone, but it wasnt very clear. Wish I’d gotten a photo of THAT one, too. Oh well!
love B&W photos as well… adds some nostalgia and depth somehow.

That yoke is a really cool shot. And the stamps are just beautiful! Can you believe the post office was “out” of holiday stamps last week when I was mailing stuff? This stuff only happens in Canada! :( Great captures! :)

WOW! No holiday stamps!? Darn that! I still can’t get over how much a few cents raise on postage can make everything more expensive. I went to buy my stamps and about had a heart attack at what it cost! HAHA!! Crazy!

Aww… thanks so much! I’m still learning this stuff myself. It’s why I like WWs and other such challenges so much. It forces me to take pictures, but also to see other’s ideas and learn from them. Its fun!! Thanks again!
