Flying solo

This bird reminded me of myself... flying solo. Used on Nashvillest this last week.

Lens flare

Glare.

Sunning kitten

Lounging in the sun.

Soft smile

I took this with my phone to send to my husband. The lens was smudged, which gave it a foggy look. I loved it! I took it to Photoshop, cropped it and brought the colors out more. One of my favorite pics of myself in awhile.

Wonderful set! I really like the rustic look of the first several shots. Your portrait is lovely. I bet it’s a favorite of your husband’s too.

Thank you!! He does love it… said it made his day, which I was SO glad for that!

The first few shots are great and make me want a Droid even more! All you Droid people are so making me covet…this is a BAD thing *lol*

Anyway, I love the “broken” and “Chipped”…my favorites of the bunch…but that last shot of you is great!! Came out wonderful!

Its funny, I got my Droid mostly because my husband wanted one and it was time for both of us to upgrade anyway. Now, I can’t imagine not having it! It’s SO cool!

      Thanks so much!!

I agree with what Sarah said! I’m jealous of the Droid folks!

Next on my to do list: Download Retro Camera App for Droid. Love those pics! I’ve been very impressed with the quality of pics my Droid takes, but I’ve not played with very many camera apps. Nice to know about this one.

Do you add your pics to the Nashvillest Flickr group? Is that how they get used? I keep forgetting to add mine there.

Love the final shot of you – gorgeous!

    • August 22nd, 2010 at 21:51 | #8

      Thank you so very much!!

Yes! Just add your pictures to the Flickr group and then they select from there. Its so hard to guess what they’ll use, but no matter what, it gets you more viewers to your photos through the week.

Definitely get the Retro Camera App. That one and FxCamera are my two favorites for Droid.

      Thanks again!!

I like the old rustic look, especially on the very first photo. And I’m sure your husband will appreciate the self-portrait.
