#DrinkUpLinkUp — Woodchuck Raspberry Cider

I consider myself something of a beer snob. I know bigger beer snobs, but I also know a lot of people who think there is nothing better in this world than Pabst Blue Ribbon. (C’mon… they supposedly got their blue ribbon back in 1893. We’ve come a long way since then.) But I have to admit, I have a serious love for hard cider.

The other night, my husband and I decided to use a gift card we got at Christmas and go to The Flying Saucer. I decided on a whim to stick to cider for the night. I tried both Woodchuck Raspberry and Woodchuck Pear. For this entry, I’ll focus on the Raspberry. Why?

 Woodchuck Raspberry

Because I now have a new favorite cider.

Oh don’t get me wrong. I like all the other ciders, but this one just hit my palate beautifully. I happen to love raspberry anyway, and I regularly will go with Raspberry vodka in Sprite if I am feeling like a mixed drink. So its not a stretch for me to love this cider.

It’s a cider, so its sweet with a slight tartness, but it ends with the strong raspberry finish. So. Very. Yum. Glad I can’t seem to find it in stores around here, or I’d be in trouble. Deliciousness!

The pear was good, by the way, but definitely more tart. And it wasn’t raspberry. So there.

Do you like cider? What’s your favorite?
