I’m actually out for the night with my husband at a show, so I built this entry and set it to publish at the proper time FOR me. Ah, if only other things in life were as handy-dandy as WordPress.

The statue of Lawrence Sullivan "Sully" Ross stands in front of the Academic Building on the Texas A&M University campus. When students have a test, they'll place a penny at Sully's feet for luck.
This building did not exist when I was a student at Texas A&M. I think the architecture is fascinating, and I loved how the shadows fell the afternoon I was poking around campus.
